A Different Bookstore was one of the first independent bookstores to open its doors to the Philippine market in with its first outlet 1994.  The company’s main thrust was to provide its readers with a “different” selection of books, and through the years the company has come to realize that its bookstores have made big differences in the lives of its readers. Approximately 90% of all bookstore inventories are imported from the United States and the United Kingdom. 

A Different Bookstore has accounts with over 30 major publishing houses abroad and carries over 30,000 books in all its retail outlets and titles encompass general interest genres such as Non-fiction, Biographies and Memoirs, Fiction, Business, Information Technology, Philosophy, Science Fiction/Fantasy and Graphic Novels, Inspirational, Classics, Lifestyle, Children and Wellness. The bookstore also currently services book requirements of the major universities in the Philippines and supplies the book requirements of some of the major retailers in the country.
