The Read or Die Book Club, led by its head Ms. Kristin Mandigma, held their monthly meeting at A Different Bookstore, Serendra, last July 28, 2007, to discuss their active participation for the 2007 Manila International Book Fair. Afterwhich, the members had their book reading and discussion with the National Book Development Board headed by Atty. Andrea Flores. They were joined by Ms. Tara Sering and writer / author, Ms. Mia Gonzales.

The evening was capped by the presence of writers, poets and luminaries of Philippine literature led by Mr. Pete Lacaba. They were joined by Ms. Mara Lanot, Mr. Tat Antonio and Mr. Sarge Lacuesta. Poetry reading and an interactive book discussion followed after. The event was supported by ANVIL Publishing House.
