10-string classical guitarist Perfecto de Castro launched his first music album entitled "Perfecto de Castro - A Journey through 10 strings" at A Different Bookstore, Serendra last August 24, 2007. Prior to his show in Serendra, Mr. de Castro also performed at The Podium and in Eastwood City, supported by Ink & Stone Bookshop and A Different Bookstore. As wine and cocktails were served, guests were treated to an evening of beautiful and serene guitar music.

Prior to going solo, Perf was the lead guitarist of the band Rivermaya. Going full circle, he has been performing in the United States as a classical guitarist. His album contains his versions of timeless Filipino compositions such as Tocatta (Lucresia Kasilag) and Dahil sa Isang Bulaklak (Leopoldo Solis).

His CD's are available at all branches of A Different Bookstore. The event was organized by Sinagtala Music.
